The almost exclusively white wine region of Alsace gives us the opportunity to offer aromatic and richly ripe Rieslings with a touch of sweetness, dry and luscious late-harvest Gewürztaminers, and creamy Pinot Blancs to name a few. The Rieslings from Domaines Barmes-Buecher and Ostertag, are a sampling from the very best producers with the most refreshing and immediately drinkable white wines. The Pinot Blanc of Marc Kreydenwiess is bright, crisp and dry, and classic in taste. These and other notable producers such as Kuentz-Bas, keep to the old traditional standards, thanks to the work of unusually dynamic and quality-conscious cooperatives.
