La Tour d'Argent Madeleines

La Tour d'Argent Madeleines

Acclaimed by Florence Fabricant of The New York Times, these award-winning madeleines have become a cornerstone of the Parisian Restaurant La Tour d'Argent gourmet specialties. Impressionist Montézin's painting of the view from the restaurant over Notre-Dame adorns the lid. Made of all natural ingredients, they are perfect as an instant dessert with sorbet and a palet of dark chocolate. Compatible with sparking wines, Champagnes and all dessert wines, the buttery smooth finish of the cake, allows the full flavor of the grape to linger in the mouth. The wonderful tin makes this French tradition a versatile gift for anyone who loves the great foods of France.

Angelina Rumpelmayer Chocolat en Tasse

Named after his beloved daughter-in-law, Antoine Rumpelayer opened the doors to his first salon de thè on the Rue de Rivoli in 1903. By conceiving a special drink for children, as the judicious French never believed tea was suitable for them, he began a tradition and elevated it to an art form, with the ritual of pudding-thick bittersweet chocolate with rosettes of whipped cream, served in white china cups. This powdered sachet of Chocolat L'Africain is offered in only one size:
